Welcome to Saskatoon / Local Facilities

Saskatoon is a thriving prairie city with a population of about 240,000 people. Lying on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon is the biggest city in the province. Called the 'hub city' because of the many roads which meet here including the Yellowhead Highway, another nickname for Saskatoon is 'bridge city' thanks to the seven bridges which span the river within the city limits. The city enjoys a pleasant natural setting with over 400 acres of parkland and riverside trails.
